ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
Hello and welcome to this mindfulness meditation for a productive day. This meditation will last for five minutes. I'll mind the time. And when we are finished, you will hear a soft bell.
Begin by finding a comfortable and quiet space where you can sit or lie down. Close your eyes gently and start by taking a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
As you continue to breathe deeply, bring your awareness to the present moment.
Notice the sensation of your breath as it enters and leaves your body. Feel the rise and fall of your chest or abdomen with each breath.
Now bring your attention to your body. Notice any areas of tension or discomfort.
Without judgment, allow these sensations to simply be.
With each exhale, imagine releasing any tension or tightness you may be holding.
Shift your focus to your thoughts. Notice any racing thoughts or distractions. Acknowledge them without getting caught up in them.
Imagine placing each distracting thought on a leaf and watching it gently float away down a peaceful stream.
Return your attention to your breath. With each inhale, breathe in calmness and clarity. With each exhale, release any remaining tension or distractions.
mind your intentions for the day. What goals or tasks would you like to accomplish?
Visualize yourself moving through your day with focus, efficiency, and a sense of accomplishment.
visualize your productive day, notice how it feels in your body and mind.
Embrace the sense of confidence and capability that comes with knowing you can handle whatever the day brings.
Take a moment to express gratitude for this opportunity to instill mindfulness into your day. Feel appreciation for your ability to choose how you respond to each moment.
When you feel ready, gently wiggle your fingers and toes. Slowly open your eyes and bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Carry this sensation of mindfulness and intention with you as you begin your day.
